Bizzabo Named a Gartner Magic Quadrant Visionary for Event Platforms

Friday, 20 March 2026 · 2 min read

Bizzabo has been named a Visionary in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Event Marketing and Management Platforms. This is the third consecutive year the company has appeared in the report. Gartner places companies in four positions: Leaders, Visionaries, Challengers, and Niche Players.

What does a Gartner Magic Quadrant position mean?

Gartner scores companies on two dimensions: their ability to execute on their current product, and their completeness of vision for where the category is going. A Visionary rating means Gartner believes Bizzabo has a strong product vision but may not yet have the scale or execution track record of the Leaders in the category.

For 2026, Gartner highlighted Bizzabo's AI-powered networking tools and its Klik SmartBadge technology, which turns physical attendee movements at events into live data. The report also noted Bizzabo's analytics capabilities and its focus on connecting event data to broader marketing and CRM platforms.

Who else is in the report?

Forrester's 2024 Wave analysis named four Leaders: RainFocus, Cvent, SpotMe, and Bizzabo. Gartner's Magic Quadrant reached similar conclusions. RainFocus earned the highest strategy score of 4.7 out of 5 in Forrester's analysis and is considered the primary independent competitor to Cvent at enterprise level.

What this means for planners choosing a platform

Magic Quadrant rankings are useful as a starting reference but not a buying decision. The right platform for your event depends on your event types, your team size, and which integrations you need. A Gartner Visionary is not better or worse than a Leader. It is a different position on a particular set of criteria.
